One of the most challenging modular construction projects in Timbeco's history is nearing completion in Svolvær, northern Norway.
The project is a learning experience for Timbeco for several reasons
• The first modular building with an LCA calculation made by Timbeco. This provides a better overview of the Co2 impacts arising during the building's production, transport, erection and throughout its lifetime. Our goal is to reduce the environmental impact as much as possible.
• The first 2nd usage class (Tiltaksklasse 2) modular apartment building designed, manufactured and built by Timbeco.
• The first apartment building with an automatic sprinkler system for Timbeco, with the entire system installed at the factory
With our services and products, we want to offer sustainable solutions that benefit customers, home buyers, the surrounding environment and the Timbeco team. We believe that successful and long-term cooperation is the goal for all parties Bolig For Folket AB, architecture office @Tempt and design company @Woodn.

The first #modular holiday home of the Lyngvaer Lodge development project has been successfully installed in the Lofoten in northern Norway.
A modular solution has been used in the construction of the building. The interior and exterior finishing of the building is largely carried out in the factory and this significantly saves time on the site.
The interior of the buildings is warm and bright, because wood-based materials are used. The ceiling height is 270cm and floor-to-ceiling windows are used to create spaciousness. All houses have panoramic views of the magnificent mountains, the sea, the northern lights and the midnight sun.
Professional work from an installation team who can handle difficult situations and give their best to get the job done.

At the beginning of this week, the Engineering Career Day seminars were held at Tallinn TTK University of Applied Sciences. The aim of the seminars was to bring an exciting change to the usual lectures. Annika Kadaja Woodhouse Estonia, Tarmo Tamm ARCWOOD and Tõnis Vaiksaar Timbeco Woodhouse spoke at the seminar "BOOM of wooden houses". The topics discussed were how Estonia has grown into Europe's largest exporter of wooden houses. What are the possibilities and future trends of wooden construction. And how modern wooden house production will reach a technological level similar to the automotive industry in the future.
It is very important to share information with students that will help them make decisions about their career choices. The production of wooden buildings is technologically reaching a very high level and thereby offering exciting challenges to young people.
