Tallinn recently hosted the international RENOMIZE consortium meeting and workshop, bringing together partners from across Europe to discuss future-oriented renovation solutions, sustainable construction, and innovation in the building sector.
During the visit, partners had the opportunity to explore the Timbeco factory, the Akadeemia tee construction site, and a RENOMIZE-related building project in Estonia. The visits provided valuable insights into modern industrialized construction processes, energy-efficient solutions, and the practical implementation of circular economy principles.
The visit to the Timbeco factory offered participants a closer look at how factory-produced timber modules and prefabricated elements help make construction processes faster, higher in quality, and more sustainable. At the Akadeemia tee site, partners could see first-hand how innovative renovation and construction solutions are being implemented and what impact they can have on the future urban environment.
The discussions throughout the meeting focused on energy efficiency, sustainable cities, digitalization in renovation, and the exchange of experiences between European partners. The face-to-face meetings and site visits sparked many inspiring conversations and new ideas that strongly support the ambitions of the RENOMIZE project.
The RENOMIZE project brings together companies, research institutions, and organizations across Europe to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for building renovation and energy efficiency improvement.
