WHAT MARKETS DOES TIMBECO OPERATE IN?

Timbeco’s main markets have traditionally been Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Denmark, the UK, Germany, and Switzerland. The company has also been active in the Japanese market for over 25 years. Its main partners are construction companies and real estate developers of various sizes.

WHAT CERTIFICATIONS DOES TIMBECO HAVE?

Timbeco holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, along with ETA, CE marking, and SINTEF certification, confirming the quality of its timber structures and compliance with European standards. The German Ü-mark is currently being applied for and is expected in 2026.

HOW IMPORTANT IS SUSTAINABILITY?

Sustainability is central to Timbeco’s mission—to create a better quality of life in an environmentally friendly way. We focus on ESG principles and sustainable production. In 2022, Timbeco was named Estonia’s most sustainable company and has voluntarily prepared ESG reports for four years. At Timbeco, designers, project managers, and site managers have higher education in construction and hold relevant professional qualifications. The core team consists of employees who have been with the company for more than 10 years.

Prefabricated elements are best suited for terraced and apartment buildings, hotels, schools, offices, care homes, and other multi-storey or large-scale projects where speed, quality, and efficient on-site installation are important. Wooden elements are also ideal for renovation and extension projects. Modular solutions are best suited for apartment buildings, hotels, student housing, schools, kindergartens, care homes, offices, and healthcare buildings. They are ideal for projects that require fast construction, high quality, and minimal on-site disruption.

Timbeco’s industrial park is located in Estonia, in Tõdva near Tallinn, about a 25-minute drive from Tallinn city center. The industrial park brings together several companies related to the wood and construction sectors.
