A terraced house in Mariehamn, Åland

Timbeco built a terraced house in Mariehamn, the capital of Åland, Finland, which is located on the Algots Varv port facility in the northern part of the city. The longer-term goal of the development project is to transform the historic port area into a human-friendly and complete living environment. The first floor of the building has spacious terraces with a view of the harbor. Factory-made wooden elements were used in the construction of the buildings. Wooden cladding and Corten steel plates are used for the final finishing of the exterior facade.
