Timbeco designed, manufactured prefab timber frame elements and constructed ready from outside building envelope for an apartment building in Levanger Norway.

PREFAB PACKAGE
All structure parts were solved as prefabricated timber frame elements: wall elements, ceiling elements, roof elements, terrace elements, balcony elements and balcony railings.
Wall elements. Windows/doors were installed in the wall elements in the factory, as well as sealed and finished. Wall elements were covered with timber lining in the factory.
Ceiling elements. Because of the long span, I-beams were used in the ceiling elements. I-beams also makes the inserted ceiling element lighter, so it would be easier to install them. In order to improve the soundproofness of the ceiling, acoustic battens were installed in the elements.
Roof elements. Bitumen roof covering material was installed to roof elements in the factory. It allows to make the building weatherproof more quickly.
