A SOCIAL CARE AND SERVICE BUILDING SOLUTION FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENTS
MODULAR SERVICE BUILDINGS AND SOCIAL CARE FACILITIES
MODULAR SERVICE BUILDING ARCHITECTURE
The residential section contains eight separate three-room apartments, each comprising three bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen and living area. In addition, every apartment includes a bathroom and a storage room. All living spaces feature either a balcony or a terrace, connecting the interior with the outdoor environment and enhancing the quality of the living environment and residents’ well-being.
The building’s administrative wing, together with shared activity spaces, is located in a separate volume on the ground floor. Between the administrative block and the residential section is a gallery-type corridor, which accommodates sanitary and utility rooms. This intermediate zone functions as a practical buffer area, clearly distinguishing zones with different uses and ensuring a logical spatial layout within the building.
As a forward-looking solution, the design also includes the option of creating a separate entrance to the administrative block for access to the shared activity spaces. This approach allows for a clearer distinction between publicly accessible areas and more private residential spaces, while increasing the building’s functional flexibility. The exact solution will be developed during the detailed design phase of the specific building.
