The Estonian wooden house manufacturer Timbeco Woodhouse OÜ will be considerably expanding its storage area in the near future, increasing the current storage area by 1,500 m2. Approximately 40,000 euros will be invested into the storage area expansion.
According to Siim Leisalu, Member of the Management Board of Timbeco Woodhouse OÜ, the expansion of the enterprise’s storage area in Tõdva is caused by the increase in production volumes which is planned to occur over the few coming years. “In order to offer a smoother service to our customers it is necessary to store greater quantities of both sawn timber as well as ready-made details of element and log houses on our storage site,” he explains.
In the first half of 2013 the enterprise will also complete a new production building, the aim of which is to ensure and maintain high-quality production. These changes enable Timbeco Woodhouse to improve its production capacity and thanks to a larger storage area, the enterprise will be able to react to customers’ order more quickly.
So as to verify the quality of its products, the enterprise brought its activities into conformity with international standards. On 25 May 2012 the world’s leading certification body DNV Business Assurance awarded certificate ISO 9001:2008 to Timbeco Woodhouse OÜ for the international compliance of its management system and processes.
