At Timbeco, our commitment to sustainability began with the launch of the Green Tiger program a few years ago. Since then, we’ve worked diligently to integrate sustainable practices across our operations. As part of this effort, we’ve issued three consecutive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reports, demonstrating our ongoing dedication to responsible business practices. Timbeco is a proud founding member of the Estonian Woodhouse Association, established in 1999. For over 12 years, we have actively contributed to the association’s leadership as a board member, driving advancements in the wood construction industry.

In 2022, we were proud to be named "Sustainable Enterprise of the Year" in Estonia. This prestigious award underscores our dedication to integrating sustainability into every aspect of our operations – from sourcing materials to innovative design and energy-efficient construction. The DRIVE 0 concept is based on developing circular deep renovation solutions and supporting consumer centered business models for 7 specific study and demonstration cases as real environments. The Estonian project was led by Timbeco Ehitus OÜ in collaboration with Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech). Prefabrication reduces construction waste and energy usage. DRASTIC stands for Demonstrating Real and Affordable Sustainable Building Solutions with Top-level whole life cycle performance and Improved Circularity. Working with 23 partners across eight European countries, Drastic is a four-year project which is supported by the European Union under grant number 101123330. Drastic’s Estonian Demonstrator is led by Timbeco Ehitus OÜ in collaboration with the Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech). Project period: 2024 - 2028 Project period: 2024 - 2028 We prioritize materials that are recyclable, reusable, and sourced sustainably. Sustainability is about people as much as it is about the planet. We actively involve our stakeholders in shaping a better future for all.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
RENOMIZE aims to leverage know-how and engineering innovations from industry and academia to make steady strides for more sustainable and efficient building renovation processes. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of novel building materials, pre-fabricated element production optimisations and innovative robotics solutions.

In addition, our capabilities are backed by the European Technical Assessment (ETA) and the Norwegian SINTEF certification, ensuring our solutions meet rigorous international standards. With an ETA, manufacturers can issue a Declaration of Performance and affix the CE mark, allowing products to be legally sold and traded across the EU market while ensuring compliance, safety, and quality.
